What makes this different

Nothing here is undated. Every page carries the date it was last checked, and anything that has gone stale says so on the page. AI moves quickly and most writing about it does not admit when it has expired.

Nothing here is selling anything. No affiliate links, no sponsored models. Where a paid option is the right answer, it says so, and where free is fine, it says that too.

It tells you when not to bother. The most useful thing this section can do is save you from a project you did not need — running a model locally, paying for a subscription, or learning a tool that will not exist next year.
